John 15:7 – Answered Prayers – It Shall Be Done For You

John 15:7 – Answered Prayers – It Shall Be Done For You

This Week’s Theme – Answered Prayers

October 31, 2018

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

John 15:7

Thought For Today

Do you walk with God throughout your day? Abiding in Christ is the result of abiding in His word. So, the more you are in the Word, the Bible, the more you are living in Christ.

Wouldn’t it be great if all your prayers ended with a heart full of peace?

If you abide in Christ (by immersing yourself more in the Word), your hearts desires will align with God’s desires for you, and you will experience more answers to your prayers.

James 4:3 – Answered Prayer – The Purpose Is Bigger Than Me

James 4:3 – Answered Prayer – The Purpose Is Bigger Than Me

This Week’s Theme – Answered Prayers

October 30, 2018

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

James 4:3

Thought For Today

It’s good to ask for God’s blessings on our life. It’s also a great idea to ask God to bring fruit for our labors. But, remember the purpose.

Many of our unanswered prayers are for things we want just for our benefit. God is interested in enlarging our borders of influence, increasing our resources and giving us all good things, for a purpose that glorifies Him and fulfills His will.

Seek God’s will. Ask boldly for His blessings. But, commit yourself today to use those resources to glorify God and generously advance His gospel.

I John 5:14-15 – Answered Prayers – He Hears Us

I John 5:14-15 – Answered Prayers – He Hears Us

This Week’s Theme – Answered Prayers

October 29, 2018

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

I John 5:14-15

Thought For Today

Christ gives us the confidence to bring all our prayer requests to God in Jesus name. We are invited to ask for all our needs, all our burdens, and bring Him a plea for help in all our circumstances. Through Jesus Christ, all our requests are submitted to God, and He is waiting to answer according to His will.

So pray, because you have access to God and He delights in hearing from you.

Psalm 143:5 – Remember His Goodness and Mercy

Psalm 143:5 – Remember His Goodness and Mercy

This Week’s Theme – Remember

October 25, 2018

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.

Psalm 143:5

Thought For Today

The more we remember the power of God, the less the cares of this world overwhelm us.

Remember the “days of old.” Recall how God did the supernatural in the Bible, and even in the lives of our ancestors.

Notice God’s miraculous creation and regularly focus on the beauty of His creation. When you pay attention to these things, your understanding of the power of God is bigger than your fear of man.

Psalm 25:7 – Remember His Mercy and Goodness

Psalm 25:7 – Remember His Mercy and Goodness

This Week’s Theme – Remember

October 24, 2018

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Psalm 25:7

Thought For Today

We are not good people. Not by our nature, anyway. But when God forgives, He forgets. That is a powerful truth. There are many things worth remembering in life, but here is what you need to remember. Remember the great mercy God has bestowed on you and remember His incredible spirit of forgiveness.

Now, here is what you need to forget. Forget the sins of your past and move forward with a clear understanding of living in the love of a forgiving heavenly Father.
