One of the principal duties of a true believer in Christ is to pray. Our prayers should be combined with faith. Think of these two words and begin to develop them as part of the DNA of your spiritual walk, prayer, and faith.

If you want to be rich in God’s grace, become like a beggar in your habits of asking. Ask Him.
Ask for the things you need. Ask for guidance like a lost traveler, ask for the provisions like a poor beggar, ask for wisdom like the person who is clueless about what to do next.
Seek Him as if you were seeking for a lost treasure.
Knock on His door as a person who needs to talk to his best friend.
Ask, seek, and knock.

Those who trust in God have learned to keep their mind focused on Him. To be focused, not distracted, leads to trust and with that trust comes peace, perfect peace, peace inside, peace outside and peace with God.

Worry can overcome you in times of need if you allow it. Try this instead. Don’t worry but pray and ask God to meet your needs. Begin focusing each day on things to thank Him for that He has done for you and ways He has already provided. Be bold in bringing your needs to Him in prayer but continue to focus more on HIs power and provision and less on the problems of life.

All who live in this world will have trials and tribulations. But Christ has overcome, and He delivers victory to those who trust in Him. Relying on Him brings victory and peace in the midst of all our struggles.
