Joshua Goodling
February 4, 1966 – April 27, 2025
Josua Goodling served God passionately all his life and was a huge part of High Impact Ministries.
After dealing with several health issues, he went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
He is already greatly missed!

More about Joshua:
At the age of four, Joshua Goodling was diagnosed with a terminal cancer that would drastically change his life. The doctors said his chances of survival were zero and gave him about one week to live. That was over 50 years ago, so it’s been a long week! After two bouts with the dreaded disease, the cancer was eventually gone, but it left him with partially paralyzed vocal cords, stunted growth, and other problems that he would deal with for the rest of his life. However, Joshua didn’t allow those circumstances to control him, and people all over the world, in all walks of life, have been challenged and inspired by his moving story of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles, and then using his life to bring hope, happiness, and encouragement to others.
“On behalf of Forsyth/Dawson FCA, I want to send you a heartfelt thank you for speaking at Piney Grove Middle School yesterday. I was absolutely mesmerized by your story. It was by far one of the most powerful messages I have ever heard.” One mom wrote to tell me that her son said that you were the most inspirational speaker he has ever heard and that he got more out of your message than he ever has at church or any other spiritual gathering.
“DAVID CUNNINGHAM – TEACHER – DURHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL”
“We had over three hundred and fifty eighth graders and two hundred plus third graders from a local elementary school in attendance. When you spoke I was amazed at how quiet the students became.” Your message not only resonated with our students but the teachers and staff as well. I can’t wait to have you come back and speak again to our whole student body.
SCHOOL NUTRITION ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA
IMOGENE F. CLARKE – CONFERENCE CHAIRPERSON, VICE PRESIDENT
“The School Nutrition Association of South Carolina was privileged to hear Joshua’s story at our 58th Annual Conference. He challenged and inspired us all by his life.” We shall never forget the lessons we learned from him and will be better servants for it. Please keep sharing your message, the world needs to hear it.
Since 2013, Joshua’s story has impacted over 25,000 youth, for FREE. That’s right… because, unlike many speakers, Joshua doesn’t charge a speaker fee.
