This Week’s Theme – Remember

October 23, 2018

When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.

Psalm 63:6

Thought For Today

When David penned the words of Psalm 63, he was writing from experience of a life that was often chaotic. He may not have always laid his head down in the same place two nights in a row. Wherever he laid down, thoughts of God laid down with him.

Here is the difference between the wicked heart and the Godly heart. The sinful heart never thinks about God, but the Godly heart can’t help but remember God. Not only did he remember God, but he also chose to meditate on Him.

If you have trouble sleeping at night, remember God and meditate on Him. You may find a few minutes remembering His blessings are more energizing than the few minutes of sleep you could have gotten.
