Ken,

Thanks for the Statement of Faith. I will be happy to recommend your web site now that I know what you believe.

In Jesus Christ happily and eternally.

Kent,

I appreciate your article on "How To Spot A Bad Friend" and would like to recommend it to my grandchildren.

However I could not find on your web site any reference to your detailed Statement of Beliefs or Statement of Faith. I feel it is important to know what you believe before I recommend or reference your web site.

In Jesus Christ securely and eternally,

Jack
Please answer by email if possible because I am not sure how/if I will read your answer on this web page. Thanks.

I just saw your comment. I apologize it slipped through the cracks! Just the other day I had a teenage boy tell me he doesn't believe in God. My response was, "Okay, but we can still talk about what the Bible teaches about Him." He had no objection to that.

Sometimes teens (and adults) will make a statement such as "I don't believe in God" to see how a true believer will react. The truth is that God created us with a built in understanding that He exists.

I kind of have a rule that I don't argue with people about the Bible. But what I do see as effective is to live in front of others the truth of the gospel.

If you will take opportunities to share with these youth what God has done in your life and how He has brought peace, direction and fulfillment in to your life and family, it will have a great impact.

I hope these thoughts help!
